Video 1 - Pre drilling prior to sheet installation
In this video, you can see the 40‑tonne piling rig pre‑drilling the ground using a 450 mm diameter auger. The sheet piles are 7 metres long, so the auger drills down beyond that depth, then unscrews and removes some of the loose spoil as it withdraws. In later videos, you will see the 100 m³ of fill piled on the platform—this is the spoil generated from the pre‑drilling process.
Video 2 - Final vibration with drill rig down to height.
In this video clip, you can see the final metre of sheet piling remaining above ground. The piling rig then vibrates the section down, adjusts its head to clear a fence-wall obstruction, and continues vibrating the pile to the design reduced level.
