Anthony has spent 26 years in residential construction. He holds a degree in Construction Management from QUT and has worked across estimating, scheduling, contract administration, building supervision, construction and project management, maintenance and dispute resolution, including years inside a major project builder. That's where he saw first-hand how volume builders operate, and exactly where homeowners get caught out.
He's a licensed builder, a licensed waterproofer and a Workplace Health and Safety Officer, holds PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner (Agile), and is a qualified real estate agent (CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice, QLD).
Yes, you read that right: he can build the house, waterproof it, manage the risk and, in theory, sell it to you.
Outside work, Anthony is usually hiking or camping somewhere new, which is where his interest in sustainable building and cutting construction waste comes from. He's also a famously slow reader, despite a speed-reading course (genuinely). He's been working through Critical Chain Project Management by Lawrence P. Leach since August 2024. Like most builds, it's running a little behind schedule.
